Our Story

Papa Jake’s Seafood is a veteran-owned business bringing Deep Louisiana Flavor to your kitchen. Founder, Jake Tedesco, was raised in Slidell, Louisiana, and grew up with the flavors of the South. Watching his mom share her love of food on her cooking show taught him how much joy you can get from cooking for the people you love. As his mom always said, “If you love someone, cook for them.” Papa Jake has been doing just that – cooking for his friends and family his whole life.

After working in his aunt’s po'boy shop and a Chinese restaurant, Jake moved on to the insurance business. Years later, he realized it was time to return to his passion and help people enjoy the deep flavors of Louisiana. Papa Jake enjoyed boiling crawfish and shrimp for the people of North Texas in 2019. After a few hurdles, Jake launched Papa Jake’s Seafood and shared his specialty seasonings.
